Foxy and the geese Part 1
2008

2008-05-25. It was Mothers Day and my son brought me with his car to the Mariehem pond.  I should walk back home. This picture is taken of a passing by dad who had his little son with him.
2005-05-28. This was a wonderful Mothers Day. I met my friend, the Barnacle goose again.
January 2008. That winter, I found this goose in the park by the hospital. He had not moved with the others.

The whole story about that winter here:

January 2008. Me and some others fed him. But we had to watch that the goose got the food. The ducks were faster. Me and another woman called a farmer who has goose himself. The farmer took home Barnacle and then the goose survived!
2008-05-25. And now the farmer had taken Barnacle to the Mariehem pond there his own goose use to live in summer. I felt so happy to see this goose again.
2008-05-25. But then he was shy. He had seen me in winter when he was hungry. But did not understand it was me.
2008-05-25. In the middle of the Mariehem pond is an island. The geese are living there in summer. People can't come on the island. But when the geese come in land, people can feed them.
2008-05-25. Barnacle was standing in the island.
2008-05-25. I needed to use the telephoto lens to get closer pictures of him.
2008-05-25. Barnacle was cleaning himself.
2008-05-25. Here are the tame geese who are owned of the farmer. There are 2 white ones and 2 Skåne geese.
2008-05-25. There is a little shelter on the island for the geese. And there is a lot of grass on the other side of the island.
2008-05-25. A gull came flying.
2008-05-25. Barnacle and the other geese.
2008-05-25. The farmer also has tame ducks who lives at the island in the Mariehem pond.

2008-05-25. The pond is connected with a creek. Here you could walk over the bridge to go to the fields.

2008-05-25. The brown and white goose is a Skåne goose.
2008-05-25. I saw that the Canada goose still was there too. The farmer saved the life of this goose for some years ago. And this goose stayed on the farm. It never moved. And in summer he lives in the Mariehem pond too.
22008-05-25. Here you can see that you can’t reach the island. This is a perfect shelter for the birds. It's early in the spring and all the buds have not burst yet. And there is not so much greenness yet.

2008-05-25. Flying gulls.
2008-05-25. I walked  home through the woods. Here I found wood anemones.

These flowers grow in gardens between rocks.
2008-07-04. I went to Stockholm in the summer and was at the open air museum Skansen. There I saw many Barnacle geese. And they were tame and used to people.
