A new walk over the fields to the geese. There was lot of hawkweed in the fields.
The sun was shining and the pond was blue.
I don't know what kind of bird this is. It has a black beak like the widgeon. But it looks more like a mallard with the wrong colour. I found such a duck on the net and they told it was an unusual mallard with a brown colour.
The geese saw me coming.
The gosling were now allowed to go to people.
Of course the adults watched the goslings well.
A tame duck and 2 mallards behind it.
A gosling and two mallards.
Now they were eating grass. Down below some more pictures of the goslings.

The crow got food this day too.
He looks real cool :)
Some people fed the ducks and geese. Here the man showed the geese the empty bag to tell that the food was gone now.
The goslings were bigger now.
Now they were eating grass.
Geese, jackdaws and a magpies.

The jackdaw was looking at this gosling.
The parents still were watching.
Here one was watching while the others were eating.

The geese saw me coming. They came flapping and were honking loudly.
This Skåne goose was flapping and landing in front of me. Of course the goose got food. He looked so funny :)
Geese and ducks were eating food.
Now the geese came back to me.
But now I had to feed more geese.
They were waiting for more food.
They got more,  I had a lot of food with me.
I was happy that the goslings were allowed to come to me. They were bigger now.
Also this duck got food.
I enjoyed it so much to be with the geese.
Geese and jackdaws.
Preening.

Geese and magpies.
Geese and magpies.
The goose was looking at me and understood this was the last time this year he could meet me.
The farmer had put the fence. Soon they should go in there and be taken back to the farm. They can't survive when the pond is frozen. and there is no food. Wild geese use to move to the south.
Many birds moved to the south.
The autumn showed it's colours.
I was looking at the geese and they looked at me. I said goodbye to them.
I went home and turned around, looking back to the pond from distance.

Goodbye dear friends. I hope to see you next year again.

I looked at the sites about the geese in the cold winter and was longing to the next summer when I can walk to the pond again and meet the ducks and geese.

The end
