Snow sculptures
February 7 and 9, 2015

2015-02-07. My by a snow sculpture. It was cold. I needed my hood.

2015-02-07. They had a snow sculpture competition.
2015-02-07. I was there rather early and the sky was blue and I got pictures in "the blue hour".
2015-02-07. The sculptures were not ready yet. But we never know how the weather can change and destroy the sculptures. So I went to the sculptures on Saturday morning. Then the artists still were working on them. But I got nice pictures.
2015-02-07. En artist had made a bike made of ice. The town put it in the park on Friday. But the temperature was +1 Celsius, too warm for this fragile ice bike. It broke down the night before the competition. But this artwork was not a part of the competition. The town had made it just for decoration.

2015-02-07. Later on Saturday I got a picture there both are visible at the same time.

I'm glad I took this picture. On Monday the 2 figures hade broken down because it was +1° Celsius on Sunday and high wind on Saturday night.

2015-02-07. They also med a boules ice rink in the park. I saw later they were playin boules.

2015-02-09. Now it was Monday and all the sculptures were ready.

There was another light this day. No blue sky.

2015-02-09. As usual also this day there were lost gloves in town. Here they put up a lost mitten on a plow peg, so the owner should see it.

2015-02-09. They had mad a little bench inside the sculpture.
2015-02-09. The train to Örnsköldsvik on the station. I hope to go on that train in summer.
