Foxy's
winter adventures
 Part 73

Snowing, snowing, snowing

2015-11-21. This day we got snow. A lot of snow!
2015-11-21. Winter was here. I was sitting on the walker, enjoying the snow on the trees. My Greenland Parka jacket was both wind proof and warm. I did not freeze.
2015-11-21. The snow flakes stuck on the window.
2015-11-21. Much snow was coming down.
2015-11-21. It was difficult to run the walker in the deep snow. The snow plow had not taken away the snow from the streets yet. The walker stuck in the deep snow and I decided not to move on and stay by the edge of the woods.
2015-11-21. It was a dark and grey day. But it was beautiful to see the snow on the trees.
2015-11-21.
2015-11-21.
2015-11-21.
2015-11-21. I should have gone down this street to come to a well-used doggy path. On that path it's easy to go with the walker.
2015-11-21. The woods were magical.
2015-11-21. While I was sitting enjoying the snow, a black hooded friend came out of the woods. I was happy for the people meeting in the woods.
2015-11-21. Picture of our street.
2015-11-21. Snowing in the street.
2015-11-21. Snow on my hood. I had the north wind behind me. My jacket became white on the backside.

Me finding joy and peace in the woods.

I like this poem about people meeting very much. I often have people meetings in the woods.

People meeting

If the desolate forest
makes you anxious
Then a casual meeting
will be a relief enough.

Giving information of the way
subsequently
separate in peace.
Such were strangers meeting
according ancient custom.

Changing a word or two
made it easy to go
all people meeting
should be so.
