Skansen in Stockholm
part 2

2014-07-08. Happy me walking at Skansen in Stockholm.
The bears were lying down, because it was so hot.
Here one bear was sitting for a while.

I need to show how the bears are when they are active. I took this picture in the year 2000 with my anagogic camera and scanned it later.

Bear mother, two cubs in the tree and one cub under the tree.
This bear picture was taken in 2003.

Skansen Aquarium

Ring-tailed lemurs (Lemur catta) .
The lemurs are so cute and we visited them every time we were at Skansen.
You may go in the enclosure and be with the lemurs. There are paths. The lemurs are inoffensive and not afraid for people. You can see the feet of the people in the background.
You man not pet them and not feed them. You only may look at them and take pictures.
The zoo keeper feed them. You can take pictures while they are eating.
They have a very good sense of balance.
Once when we were there, a lemur jumped on Ove's backpack and was sitting on the top of it. It looked so funny. But then the zoo keeper came and chased away the lemur. It made us smile and we are still smiling when we are thinking about it.
