Red Riding Hood
in the woods
 and at the
open air museum

June and July 2014
Me in front of the barn. In my red hooded Fjällräven jacket.
They have no real animals in the barn any more. But they made a barn with wooden animals for children. These animals are a little smaller as the real ones. It's the meaning the children can play they are farmers and can care for the animals.
The wooden pig. They had real hay for the wooden animals.

The goat. The children play they give them hay.
The wooden cow an calf.
The children may give them hay and milk the cow. The also have a cow poo made of wood. But that thing is always gone somewhere under the hay.
They also have a rat in the barn. But it's made of wool.
They have some real animals too. But these are in the barn beside the children's barn. They have sheep
They have goats.
And they have hens and a rooster. Two hens are under the house.

2014-06-14. Ove in the woods. We were on our way to Gammlia
2014-06-14. Here I had my green Fjällräven jacket. I was laughing in the woods. :-D
2014-06-14. In the weekends they hired a horse and a horse driver. Then we can ride in the carriage pulled by the horse.
2014-06-14. There was a barrel with lily of the valley by a house. This looked real pretty
2014-06-14. There were mallards in the pond at Gammlia. This one is a male.
2014-06-14. A steamboat that in former times was going on the river. Now it's inside the museum, so it will not be destroyed of the weather.

Leading the sheep to another pasture
2014-06-30. They moved the sheep from the pasture in the woods to a pasture at Gammlia.
2014-06-30. They did not want to follow the guys.
2014-06-30. They had to try with food to let them follow. But one sheep thought the little rowan was more delicious.
