A long walk by the river from Strömpilen
to my home

I decided to make a walk from Strömpilen to my home. This was a real long way.
I walked under the bridge.
The map of the path I walked. I put in >  >  > on the picture there I was walking. Beside the path was the railway and the road.
The railway and the road. No train was coming that time. The flowers are called "mjölkört" = fireweeds. But people call them "rallarros". That means: "Railraod navvy". Because the fireweeds often are growing by the rail road.
There were many wild flowers by the riverside.

I left the Kolbäck Bridge behind me.

There were several boats on the river. This is one of them.

The weather was fabulous and I got good pictures of the river.

The river has a big curve before it comes to town. It's still far to walk to town. But I stopped my river walk by the hospital and the railroad station.
But when I worked at the Strompilen area I sometimes biked this way. And also biked to town. It's easier to bike the long way.

They had made a nice park by the creek with beautiful flowers.

I climbed the staircase on my way to the railroad station.

The hospital and the railroad station.
The railroad station is named "Östra stationen"= The East Station. This station is rather new. The Central Station is in town.

I had to go through the railroad station to come to the hospital and the way home. There were no people because no train was coming yet.
I took a  picture of the rail road through the window. At the right a part of the river.
This part of the rail road station is under the ground. There is beautiful art on the tiles.
The next part of the rail road station is on the ground and is only an exit hall.
Pretty blue flowers. I don't know what it is.
The blue flower were groing in the bus street park by the hospital. l  now had 20 minutes left to walk. I walked in almost 2 hours.
