Almedalen

Ducks in the pond.
This park is so nice.
Some ducks are preening.
It was fun to see the ducks in Gotland :-)

It was a lovely place.
Nice flowers in the Almedalen park.
Some people were feeding the ducks.
It looks like these are pears. But I'm not sure.

Here you can come to the inside of the wall.
A park with sprouting figures.
It was a nice little park.
Down in the picture there is a sprouting frog.

This is a modern trash bin.
The houses are so picturesque.
I loved it to walk here.
Colourful.
The style of this house reminds me about the style in Holland.

The streets in the old town were narrow.
A cat was looking to us from a window. :-)
This house had a special paint. It's not the Falu red colour.
Not one of the houses was the same.
There were small gardens in the old town.
This garden was so pretty.
There were also nice flowers by the houses.

There were many roses in old Visby.

I enjoyed the flowers so much.

The botanical garden
This was a beautiful park. I enjoyed it so much.
I forgot what kind of berry this is. It's not raspberry. A friend told me it's loganberry.
The St Olofs ruin, build in the 1200-century. This was probably a church. The ruin was covered with ivy

A staircase in the ruin. It was closed because it could be dangerous to go there.
The park was beautiful.
There were also flowers, but there was no time for our group to go around the whole park.

There were many trees in this park.

The hotel
The hotel room were in different apartment houses.
We had a room in this house named Kyllaj.
This is a bike stand.
Our room.
There was a picture of raukar on the wall.

There was a little terrace by our room.
You could see the harbour in the distance from the terrace.

The restaurant was in another house.
The first course was asparagus soup
The main course was fillet (tenderloin) of pork with sauce and vegetables.
The dessert was mousse with nuts. But you could not see the mousse.
2017-08-18. Breakfast in the restaurant. After that we went on more adventures.
