Walk in the parks in Umeĺ

2011-06-10. I made a walk in the parks of our town with a group and guide. We started here by the green sculpture named  "Grön eld" = Green Fire. The building in the background is the old railroad station.
They had many beautiful flowers. I will not type much text. Just enjoy the flowers.

It's made of plates of glass lying on each other. Then you get the green colour.

They planted palms in the park by the river and made a little beach. In winter they take in these palms and have them in a green house.
These flowers were not in bloom yet. They will be blue.

You can see a little bleu in this flower.

The beach and the palms. This is al fun thing that the town made :) Palms cannot grow here. They planted them and only can have them in summer.
