The lighthouse in Bjuröklubb

2018

2018-06-19. Me by the Bjuröklubb lighthouse.
2018-06-19. We made a buss trip in this red Umeå bus to the lighthouse in Bjuröklubb
2018-06-19. First we were driving 82 kilometres northwards on the E4 road. After that 20 kilometres on a forest road to the coast.
2018-06-19. The Bjuröklubb lighthouse is lying on a hill. I took this picture with telephoto lens from the ground.
2018-06-19. This houses were before lighthouse-keeper houses. now it's a restaurant.
2018-06-19. The W.C . for the tourist was in this house. Clean and nice with water.
2018-06-19. Some lupines were in bloom by the house.
2018-06-19. The weather was bad and it was very windy. But I was out taking pictures in my rain-shell jacket.
2018-06-19. Wet tables and chairs. Nobody was out. But I was out while the others were in the house until they should serve the lunch.
2018-06-19. The old lighthouse-keeper house.
2018-06-19. The entrance of the restaurant. Observe the spot in the picture. I got raindrops on the lens. I had to dry it often with a soft cloth.
2018-06-19. An old  meteorological (weather) station.
2018-06-19. They did meteorological observes in 100 år. SMHI means "Sveriges meteorologiska och hydrologiska institut"
2018-06-19. Dog roses were growing around the house.
2018-06-19.
2018-06-19. I walked around on the yard by the restaurant in the pouring rain. :-)

There is a modern weather station in the distance.

2018-06-19. Only qualified staff may go to this.
2018-06-19. But I took a picture with the telephoto lens.
2018-06-19. A storing house.
2018-06-19. Rocks. The environment here is barren.
2018-06-19. We had a kind of wild meat, potatoes and sauce. In the bowls that has the shape of a boat is fresh vegetables and   apple chutney. The food was delicious.
2018-06-19. We had coffee and cake as dessert.
2018-06-19. My by the table. My orange rain jacket is hanging beside me on my walking poles.
2018-06-19. After the lunch we walked on a wooden ramp to the lighthouse.
2018-06-19. The wooden walking ramp
2018-06-19. This is a pebble (pebbly) beach. Very difficult to walk on this.
2018-06-19. But we could enjoy the rocks from the wooden ramp.
2018-06-19. The Swedish Maritime Administration owns the lighthouse and the machine house.
2018-06-19. The lighthouse. Light altitude: 50.8 m.
2018-06-19. It's difficult to walk on the rocks on the hill. That's why they build the ramp. So everyone can go and enjoy the view over the sea.
2018-06-19. Almost on the top. The grey sea in the distance. (grey because of the heavy clouds).
2018-06-19. Ove walking on the ramp. He did not have a rain shell jacket. He took his umbrella. But his green Fjällräven jacket is water repellent.
2018-06-19. The were not many of us who took the walk on the ramp to the lighthouse. The weather was real bad.
2018-06-19. But for me there is no bad weather, only bad clothes. But I have good clothes and kept warm and dry. I felt so happy to be in nature.
2018-06-19.. The view over the sea was grey. If it had been sunny with a blue sky, the sea should have been blue and beautiful.
2018-06-19. But at lest I could see the sea and it was interesting to experience the bad weather.
2018-06-19. Ove walking with his umbrella.
2018-06-19. The lighthouse.
2018-06-19. Here you can sit and enjoy the sea. But in this weater it was better to stand and enjoy the sea.
2018-06-19. A telephoto picture of the flag and the roof of the restaurant house.
2018-06-19. Now Ove could not use his umbrella. The umbrella said: "SMACK" in the hard wind. It's good his green jacket is water repellent.
2018-06-19. Enjoying the sea.
2018-06-19.
