Early spring
by the river

 
2019-04-20. Today I started to have my green summer jacket.  Again I had a wonderful walk by the river. I had a bag with sandwiches with me and enjoyed my lunch looking out over the river.

2019-04-20. These daffodils' were growing wild on the hill side.

2019-04-20. On the other side of the river was still ice. The Canada geese were standing on the ice.
2019-04-20. As the river is wide it was difficult to get a clear picture of the geese.
I took this picture 2014-08-23. Then I was on the other side of the river and the geese were near me.
2019-04-20. The gulls were standing on a floating ice floe.
2019-04-20. It looks empty and desolate without the greenness.

2019-04-20. In the distance the scaffolding for the pylons' of the new bridge they are building.
2019-04-20. This week the workers put more tarpaulin on the top of the scaffolding. South side.

2019-04-20. Ice floe's. They look like surfing boards.
2019-04-20. These ducks were coming to me.

2019-04-20. It was peaceful with the smooth water. I took this picturre from the Church Bridge.

Public showing about the building
of the new bridge

The public was invited to come to the building place and get information about the new bridge named Lundabron. I took along walk to the building place
2019-04-20. This is the sign about the new bridge. Here we could see how the bridge should look.

2019-05-08. The scaffolding on the south side of the river.
2019-05-08. The scaffolding on the north side of the river.
2019-05-08. I saw the flags in the distance so it was not difficult to find the building place.

2019-05-08. The marina named Lundåker. The boat bridges are still not connected to land. It's to early to launch boats.

2019-05-08. I arrived on the building place. You are not allowed to go there, but now we were invited and could go in. The building barrack at the right. Here we got coffee and cookies.

2019-05-08. They made a thick wire over the river. They can transport things over the river to the other scaffolding.
When I should go home it started raining. It was a heavy shower.

I had to walk back to the centre of town in 35 minutes. But I had my Eco shell jacket for the rain and kept warm and dry.  I was singing in the rain by the river. :-)
