A gorgeous walk
by the river

When life is stressful I get peace by the water, by the pond or by the river. Here I can take a deep breath, look out over the water and find peace.

This walk by the river was one of the most beautiful walks I made this spring. The birds were singing in the trees.

The blue sky was reflecting in the water, the trees had new leaves and there were a lot of spring flowers.
 
2013-05-24. I made a walk by the river. The sun was shining, the water and the sky were blue. I was in paradise.
2013-05-24. The Ume River is wide. I took this picture from the old bridge.
2013-05-24. Here you can see the path. At the right is a hill with trees and wild flowers. The river is on the right. I walked this path to west. The river goes long inside land to west.
2013-05-24. I took this picture of the old bridge to East. On the old bridge you only may bike or walk. On the bridge on the picture you may drive and there is a side walk to walk. At the left: A new park. they still has not build it ready.
2013-05-24. The bridge there you can drive is named Teg Bridge. Behind the Teg Bridge in the distance is the Church bridge. That's the newest bridge.

2013-05-24. There were many dandelions in the grass, both on the hill and by the river.
2013-05-24. It's beautiful with the yellow dandelions, the green gras and the blue water.

2013-05-24. On top of the hill are houses. You may not go up there because that's private property.

2013-05-24. At some places there were garden flowers by the riverside. I don't know how they came there.

2013-05-24. I was amazed to find WHITE daffodils. I fris was thinking about it could be narcissus. But thes use to have a little yellow or a yellow heart.

2013-05-24. On this path you can walk to the west end of town. But I moved on by the river.

2013-05-24. There is a small path in the grass. Dog owners go there sometimes with the dog. But of course you may walk the dog on the real path.

2013-05-24. I met a mom with a dog on the path. This dog went to the water and was swimming there. The dog liked it very much.

2013-05-24. The word Älvdal is on this sign. That means River Valley. The river is in a valley and the town is up hill.
