Rödluvan in the snow
Part 33
Snow at Gammlia
2010-02-01

Happy me on a spring-winter day at the open air museum Gammlia.
There was a lot of snow. You could not see the pond behind the fence. But the pond was covered with ice and snow.
The pink house
They did not plow all the paths. The path around the pond was not plowed.
Here the horses were in summer.
A little path. In the distance a woman with skies.
The house there the goat Enok lived before.
On this path I made  a ride in the carriage pulled by the horse.
Also on this path I made  a ride in the carriage pulled by the horse.
The fence with snow.
The fence. In this pasture the cows were in summer.
The same path again there I was with the horse in summer.
The fence became a piece of art in the snow.

Glistening snow.

The Café and the school house. Both closed in winter.
God made snow art in the trees.
This place was snowed in and not plowed.
This house is real cute in the snow.
The woods by Gammlia
The round barn.
More snow art in the trees.
The hay-drying rack.
Also here the horse was going with the carriage in summer.
The blue sky makes that the snow was blue.
The hay-drying rack.
In the distance the pasture there the sheep were in summer.
The summer barn. It was in former times for the cows who were in the mountains far from the farm.
The sheep house there the sheep were in summer over the night.
The round barn.
Snow art on the fence.
The sheep house.
The woods.
The woods.
There was so much snow, you could not walk here. I missed the animals. They cannot survive here now. They need to be at the farm and inside a barn.
The sun is shining low but the sun does not warm this time of the year.
The church.
Ice sculptures with hearts inside, standing beside the museum building. This was for Valentine day.
The hearts were made of paper and were frozen inside the ice.
The church at Gammlia. There is a dog "wolf" sitting at the right beside the bike.
My kick sled by the museum building.
The kick sled by the church entrance. There are lanterns made of ice standing by the church and flowerpots with pine twigs.
The church.
The church.
The restaurant building.
I went home with the sled. The kick sled on the yard. Here you can see how high the mountains of plowed snow are.

That day it was not sunny and then you don't get the nice blue colour on the snow. It looks more like black and white here.

Snow in the woods.
The Sami house in the woods.
Ice lanterns. There are leaves frozen inside the ice.
Ice sculptures with flowers and twigs frozen inside.
A Sami house.
Another Sami cot.
This storing house for the Sami never became ready last summer.
Berries, twigs and cones frozen inside the ice.
