Rödluvan in the snow Part 44 January 1 2010

2010-12-27.The day between New Year and Twelfth day there were no activities in the Glass House. There were grey curtains in the windows. But there  was a star projecting in the house. This was real nice.

2010-12-27. The beautiful ice chair. Too cold to sit on it. But King Bore, the king of winter can sit there.
2010-12-27. We needed to warm us and had lunch in a Chinese restaurant.
2010-12-27. There was a beautiful swan in the Chinese restaurant.
2010-12-27. And artwork with wild horses.
2010-12-31. New Year Eve. It was dark and cold. I saw on TV that it was snowing like crazy in Stockholm. I kept inside and had a good bit of Calzone pizza with Ove.
2011-01-01.  We had reindeer fillet to dinner at New Years day. With fried potatoes, mushroom sauce and peas. It was delicious.
2011-01-05. Ove took this pictures. He went on a buss trip to the boat Cinderella in Stockholm. But it was not so much fun to be on deck in the cold and the darkness. And the sky was grey. It was more cosy inside on the boat.
2011-01-05. I did not want to go on this trip. There was snow and slippery roads in Stockholm. Ove took this picture  of Stockholm from the boat.
2011-01-06. I was eating this pizza alone at 00.10. I a lot of candles and enjoyed the pizza and the light..
2011-01-06. Little Muumi  from Finland said to "You are not alone, I'm here." Such a comfort to have Muumi.
2011-01-11. Back to town. I had a good lunch with Ove in a restaurant. This dish is made of  minced meat and it tasted delicious.
2011-01-11. I went to the Glass House. This week there were fabrics designers.
2011-01-11.  Look! A double hoody! Such a funny cape :-D. The woman told me that this was a cape for 2 persons.

2011-01-11. I took this picture from the bus. The snow and ice on the roof was dangerous. The workers ha to clean the roofs.
2011-01-12. I need to tell what happened with the heaters on the market place. All heaters did not work. Something was broken. This was not good. Now they had to plow and sprinkle sand. The Glass House was snowed in too.
2011-01-12. In the Glass house again. The designers had made a table that you can fold. Then the puzzle will sit between the parts of the tables and then not fall apart.. You can store the fold table with the puzzle inside and later, when you will go with the puzzle you can open the table again.
2011-01-12. The puzzle will be a Swedish house in the country.
2011-01-11. The sculpture "The Standing man" was standing almost till his knees in the snow. The snow should have melt if the heaters had been working.
2011-01-11. The snowed in Glass House. Workers had to come and clean the little staircase and the entrance of the Glass House
2011-01-11. The Standing man's hair went white in the snow. Look at the stripes on the man's jacket. That's snow. It was snowing much while I took this picture..
2011-01-11. We needed to be to warm, and had lunch in a restaurant. I took the picture of Ove.
2011-01-11. Beef of minced reindeer meat, sauce, boiled potatoes and black currant jelly.
2011-01-13. I needed to buy food again. Fortunately the plow truck had been here so I could use the sled.
2011-01-13. Once there were 2 benches. But now they were under the snow.
2011-01-13. A trash house with much snow on the roof. It's dangerous if you get the icy snow on you head!!
2011-01-13.The snow stuck together and became like a thick blanket that covered the bushed with snow. Not good for the bushes. They will be pressed down.
2011-01-13. This is also dangerous. I did not go near the house.
2011-01-13. It was dusk and difficult to see the path.
2011-01-13. These trees are bird cherry. In spring the get wonderful white flowers. But now they only have white snow.
2011-01-13. The hill of snow is higher as the shed.
2011-01-13. Here children are sliding from a hill on sliding mats. At the left a snowman..
2011-01-13. A showman on our yard. He is leaning like the tower in Pisa :-)
2011-01-13. The play ground on the yard is now snowed over. There is no path to it anymore.
2011-01-13. This is also dangerous. But there is deep snow on the ground and nobody can go there.
2011-01-13. Now the bikes almost are gone under the snow.
2011-01-15. In the park near home. It was gorgeous to see the sun through the pines.
2011-01-15. It was such a beautiful day, but it was cold!
2011-01-15. These fir trees are in the street there Rödluvan lives. They are gorgeous.

2011-01-15. It was delicious with chicken after the walk in the cold.
2011-01-16. These are painted jars that are candles. Children made them. There is a tea light inside. They were standing in frornt of the glass House.
2011-01-16. The standing man became white.
2011-01-16. Now the workers had made a hole in the street and were searching for the fault in the ground heaters.
2011-01-16. The plowers had made a hill of snow that soon should be as high as the Glass House. The children liked to play on the hill.
2011-01-18. The end of the street there I live.
2011-01-18. It was a wonderful morning. I had been on gymnastics and went on a walk in winter wonderland.
2011-01-18. There was white frost on the trees and it was gorgeous in the low sunlight.
2011-01-18. At the left the building there I have gymnastics once a week.
2011-01-18. I went in into the woods. These woods are a parrt of the woods by work. But this is on the edge of the woods.

2011-01-18. I was smiling when she saw this van. The men from Swoosh also were home to us last spring, to clean the sewage pipes. Sometimes I met these men on my walks. They recognize me and then I always have a little talk with them. But this time they were gone in the house.

2011-01-18. I went out in the darkness to enjoy the fairy tale land. But I could not go to it. There is about 80 centimetre snow on the yard. I took a picture on distance.
